Richfield receives three awards from Virginia Health Care Association
2015 D. A. “Woody” Brown Award Winners Announced by VHCA
Virginia Health Care Association is an organization dedicated to advocating for and representing the interests of over 250 Virginia nursing and assisted living facilities. VHCA’s strength, effectiveness, and integrity are significantly enhanced by the diversity of its membership who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to residents throughout Virginia. VHCA is the Commonwealth’s largest association representing long term care.
Each year, at their annual conference, they recognize members for outstanding service and achievements. The D.A. ‘Woody’ Brown Awards focus on activity events and community engagement.
After hours of reviewing the entries for the D. A. “Woody” Brown Community Involvement Awards, the Virginia Health Care Association’s (VHCA) evaluation team members have selected the 2015 award recipients.
This year we are pleased to announce that Richfield has won three awards in the Special Events Category! The Special Event category is based on a one-time activity that involves the outside community.
Congratulations to Beverly Adams and Debbie Tingler for their work in creating and promoting these special events! Also thanks to the many other Richfield employees who worked to make these events such a success.
